My favourite POP video

This is my favourite pop video of 2014. The reason why I like this video is because it allows the viewer to escape to another world. The animation at the begining and end of the video gives it a fun introduction and ending which immediatlety informs the viewer there is a story line. Additionally, there is a good looking male in the video which conforms to the pop genre. The video tells a story of a girl who is stuck in the jungle and the man she is with gets eaten by the tiger. She then has to learn to survive for herself and defeat the tiger. The audience are able to relate to the narrative as it can be put into everyday life situations such as having faith in yourself in order to overcome anything. The media connotaions within the video are: fun, narrative, colourful, relatable, close up camera shots.
